CATCH Resident Grant Proposal
American Academy of Pediatrics
Overview
The Community Access to Child Health (CATCH) programme, developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, supports community-based projects that improve access to care for children.
This proposal for the 2025 funding cycle, aims to engage paediatric transport professionals to identify barriers to interstate care for critically ill and injured children.
Frontline Voices in Interstate Paediatric Transport
This proposal seeks to bring together transport nurses, medics, and respiratory therapists to share their experiences and insights on barriers to paediatric interstate transfers. Through surveys and regional focus groups, the project will gather data to inform policy recommendations and community-driven solutions.
The CATCH Resident Grand supports early-career physicians in building partnerships that enhance equitable access to care for all children, particularly those facing geographic or systemic barriers.
